Extra year in Hotel keeping

 

 Objectives of the training course:

- To become a qualified receptionist capable of dealing with front and back-office activities: reservations, reception, check-in and check-out operations, concierge and housekeeping duties.

- The successful candidate will obtain a training certificate “Mention Complémentaire Accueil-Réception”.

 

Conditions:

- Holding a baccalaureat (or equivalent diploma) and having a good knowledge of foreign languages: compulsory English and a second language (German, Italian or Spanish)

Or

- Having held a position in the hotel field for at least two years.

Interview and tests on motivation and level in languages.

 

Duration of the course:

- Sandwich course company/training school

- A 1-year course of 480 hours at the school (2 days a week).

 
Contents:

Professional subjects:

Reception work, communication tools, selling techniques, general and tourism knowledge.

 General subjects:

Written and oral communication – English – General and vocational German.

 
Status:

The course is attended as part of a contrat de professionnalisation of 9 to 12 months.
 
Income of the trainee:
Attendance is paid according to the following grid showing percentages of the minimum wage in the hotel and catering industry:
