Presentation of the CEFPPA

Built by the  région Alsace , jointly managed by the  Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie of Strasbourg, the Groupement des Hôteliers-Restaurateurs of the Bas-Rhin and the Education Nationale, the CEFPPA, located in Illkirch-Graffenstaden, is a training centre whose aim is to contribute to the development of the hotel and catering industry. 

Since 1990, the institution has provided sandwich courses in the hotel trade and catering industry, in cooking, in restaurant service, in pastry, in wine-waiting, and in hotel keeping, from the CAP to the BTS. These lively courses fulfill the needs of professionals.

Besides its mission of initial training, the CEFPPA develops actions of continuing education for adults, for employees and company managers in the hotel and catering industry.

Fully involved in its socio-professional regional environment, the CEFPPA has organised since 1992, special gastronomic evenings of culinary shows and tasting sessions with regional talented chefs. Thus, a lot of chefs exhibited, during these “Jeudis de la Gastronomie”, their know-how and their creativity to an audience of experienced and passionate gourmets. The cooking is carried out, commented on and tasted for the joy of the participants, in an atmosphere of rich exchanges and conviviality.
